The Pro Film Carrier 35 is a professional tool capable of scanning all 35mm film formats including half frame, full frame (standard 35mm), and panoramic sizes in a single capture while maximizing film flatness. An evolution of our Film Carrier MK1

The Pro Film Carrier 35 represents the next generation of 35mm film carriers for film scanning with a digital camera. We started with the Film Carrier MK1 and sought to improve it based upon feedback from customers and many years of in-house use. The Pro Film Carrier 35 has gone through the most extensive R&D process in Negative Supply history with ideation beginning in 2020.

We listened to you!

We listened to existing users when they asked for certain other features. A common request was an adjustable tensioner in the scanning cassette so that your film doesnt drift when youre advancing film through the carrier. This is preset during product evaluation during the assembly process. This makes auto adjustments in post processing much faster and provides pro-level consistency frame to frame.

More than anything else though, we were asked for panoramic and half frame support. Among our goals was to include support for half frame and panoramic 35mm formats (alongside standard 35mm) all in one device with no compromises.

Modularity

Like the rest of our Pro tools, the Pro Film Carrier 35 is designed to work seamlessly with tools such as our Pro Riser and Pro Mount MK2 with the correct adapter. We also have a host of modular accessories being designed for special purposes with the Pro Film Carrier 35 to make this a true professional tool.
