SmallRig Cage for Canon EOS R1

The SmallRig Cage for Canon EOS R1 significantly enhances both protection and expandability while ensuring complete functionality. It features an integrated, full-cover design specifically tailored for the EOS R1, providing extensive protection while allowing unobstructed access to all buttons for seamless operation. This cage is equipped with a three-point locking mechanism, utilizing a bottom 1/4″-20 screw and dual side locating blocks to firmly secure the camera and prevent any deflection, while the built-in silicone pads safeguard the camera against scratches.

Both the bottom and left sides of the cage are equipped with integrated Arca-Swiss quick release plates, ensuring compatibility with Arca-type tripods (ID 4059). The bottom plate can be directly attached to DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro gimbals, facilitating quick transitions between landscape and portrait orientations for efficient scene changes. The package also includes a detachable cold shoe mount, which allows for horizontal cold shoe mounting in both shooting orientations. Additionally, the cage is designed with multiple expansion interfaces, including 1/4″-20 threaded holes, 1/4″-20 & 3/8″-16 ARRI locating holes, cold shoe mounts, strap slots, and QD sockets. These interfaces are compatible with various accessories such as handles (ID 3765, 4015), shoulder straps (ID PSC2428), and wrist straps (ID 3848).
