Single-knob operation frees the head’s ball so you can position your DSLR, point & shoot, or compact camcorder at almost any angle. The head features a slot that enables you to tilt the camera 90 for portrait orientation. Or you can use that tilt to point the camera forward as you brace the tiny tripod horizontally against your chest, for supported handheld operation that will result in steadier shots. With a twist of the butterfly knob above the Mini Pro DQ’s chassis, the tripod’s center column extends 1.75″. Extending this and the tripod’s leg stages (via the twist locks) will achieve a maximum height of 8.9″, a perfect vantage point for table-top or low-angle photography.
