The Rokinon 12mm f/2.8 ED AS IF NCS UMC Fisheye Lens, designed for Canon EF Mount, delivers a 180 diagonal field of view on full-frame cameras, creating an ultra-wide angle and distorted perspective that is particularly advantageous for capturing architectural interiors, landscapes, and engaging in creative photographic experimentation. The f/2.8 maximum aperture performs well in low-light conditions and allows for a degree of shallow depth of field control.

This lens features a sophisticated optical configuration comprising 12 elements organized into 8 groups, which includes three low dispersion ED glass elements and two aspherical elements to effectively reduce coma and chromatic aberrations. The application of advanced nanocrystal anti-reflection (NCS) coating, in conjunction with UMC coatings, enhances light transmission and minimizes ghosting. Its internal focusing mechanism contributes to a compact design, preventing the front element from extending during focusing.

As a manual focus and manual aperture lens, it is equipped with a wide, ergonomically designed focus ring, along with clear markings for aperture, distance, and depth of field. Additionally, a removable petal-shaped lens hood is provided.
