The Canon PIXMA G5020 Wireless MegaTank Printer effectively eliminates the necessity for multiple ink cartridges by utilizing an integrated ink tank system. This design simplifies the refilling process and allows for an impressive yield of 6,000 black prints or 7,700 color prints from a single set of ink bottles. Additionally, this model is supplied with a complete set of inks, along with an extra pair of black ink bottles, enabling the production of an additional 12,000 black prints. The ink reservoirs are conveniently located at the front of the G5020, allowing users to easily monitor ink levels and ensure they do not run low.
The G5020 employs a dependable inkjet printing system that offers a resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi, ensuring the production of crisp text and vibrant images. This system operates efficiently, achieving speeds of 13 ipm for black and 6.8 ipm for color prints. Equipped with a 250-sheet input tray and a 100-sheet rear paper tray, the printer is well-suited for handling extensive print tasks. Additionally, users can effortlessly create borderless photographs and accommodate a range of standard media sizes from 3.5 x 3.5 inches to 8.5 x 14 inches. The inclusion of built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, alongside USB 2.0, enhances the printer’s capabilities by enabling support for various mobile printing protocols, such as Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Mopria, and Canon’s proprietary PRINT app.
