The latches on the loupe provide a rapid and secure attachment, and they can be effortlessly released to facilitate the switching of bases for cameras with LCD screens of varying sizes. Furthermore, the base is compatible with all Hoodman live view mounting plates.

Hoodman HoodLoupe Teardrop Eyecup

An enhancement for all HoodLoupe eyecups, theHoodman HoodLoupe Teardrop Eyecup effectively eliminates ambient light, thereby enhancing visibility when viewing your camera’s LCD screen. Its teardrop design naturally conforms to the shape of your head, ensuring a complete light seal and providing additional comfort. This eyecup mimics the eyepieces found on premium motion picture cameras.

Installation of the Teardrop is quick and straightforward; simply detach your original eyecup and slide the Teardrop onto the viewing end of the HoodLoupe. Thanks to its slip ring mounting, the eyecup remains securely in position while you adjust your diopter and can rotate to accommodate either the right or left eye.

Hoodman HCP2 Mirrorless Camera Custom Finder Base Plate for HoodLoupe

The HCP2 Mirrorless Custom Finder Plate for HoodLoupe from Hoodman, serves as an adjustable mounting solution compatible with 3″ or 3.2″ HoodLoupes. This base plate is equipped with a camera mounting screw and two 1/4″-20 tripod sockets. An upright column, which connects to the optional HoodLoupe, is also part of the assembly. The integrated hex tool facilitates both horizontal and vertical adjustments.

Additionally, the horizontal quick-release bar attached to the upright column can be effortlessly adjusted using the brass knob, enabling the user to attach or detach the loupe from the setup. An H3.0 adapter is provided to facilitate the mounting of the plate to older HoodLoupes lacking the 1/4″-20 connection. The HCP2 base plate is designed with anti-twist bars, a slot for a hand strap, and a point for attaching a camera sling strap. It is manufactured in the USA from milled black anodized aluminum.
