It is equipped with a 12MP BSI CMOS sensor and the TruePic VIII image processor, which together provide impressive image clarity and performance in low-light conditions, reaching up to ISO 12800. 12MP BSI CMOS Sensor and TruePic VIII Processor

The TG-6 is equipped with a 12MP BSI CMOS sensor and the TruePic VIII image processor, providing an effective combination of speed and sensitivity for both photographic and videographic endeavors. The BSI architecture of the sensor enhances image quality at elevated sensitivities, reaching up to ISO 12800, making it suitable for low-light environments. Furthermore, the image processor contributes to noise reduction and broadens the dynamic range. The sensor’s cover glass features an anti-reflective coating, which minimizes flare and ghosting in bright lighting conditions. In addition, the processor supports a continuous shooting rate of 20 frames per second in raw format, along with the capability to capture UHD 4K30p video and high-speed Full HD 1080p video at rates of up to 120 frames per second.

4x Optical Zoom Lens

The integrated 4x optical zoom lens encompasses a focal length range equivalent to 25-100mm, transitioning from wide-angle to telephoto. It features a maximum aperture of f/2, which is advantageous for low-light photography. Furthermore, the image stabilization technology reduces the effects of camera shake by as much as 2.5 stops, enhancing the ability to capture sharp images even at slower shutter speeds.

Field Sensor System and Built-In Wi-Fi

The Field Sensor System is perfectly suited for capturing data during outdoor shooting sessions, featuring a GPS module, manometer, compass, and temperature sensor. This information, along with the captured photos and videos, can be transmitted to a smartphone through Wi-Fi, enabling the integration or overlay of tracking data onto the images using the Image Track application.
