The Mini Bounce is designed to fit onto the pop-up flash built into Nikon and Canon Digital SLR cameras, giving a boost to flash output and softening the light at the same time to give better results.
The Mini Bounce builds on the same research that has resulted in Speedlight Pro Kits wide range of modifiers for speedlights.
The translucent polypropylene through which the flash lights output passes acts as a diffuser. The silvered grid painted onto the diffuser directly in front of the flash kills hot spots and the Mini Bounces silvered surface captures light spill and throws it towards the subject reducing light loss from the diffuser.
The Mini Bounce weighs only a few grammes, folds flat and is small enough to fit easily into a jacket pocket. It slots into the recess in the camera body which the pop up flash emerges from and is secured to the flash with an integral strap.
