Godox’s SZ300R Zoom RGB LED Spotlight offers precise control over light focus and spreads, with a variable beam angle of 20 to 65 that can be adjusted effortlessly to suit a variety of shooting requirements. Ideal for both photographers and videographers, this versatile light can “zoom” from a narrow 20 to a wide 65, eliminating the need to physically reposition the fixture. With a broad colour temperature range of 2500 to 10,000K, the SZ300R is suitable for use in diverse settings, including interiors, exteriors, and mixed lighting environments. The light also features fully tunable RGBWW with high CRI and TLCI ratings of 96 for accurate colour rendering.

The SZ300R can be dimmed from 0 to 100% and configured locally on the fixture or wirelessly, offering great flexibility in lighting setups. The fixture features a silent mode for sound-sensitive situations, making it perfect for video production. The SZ300R is supplied with a power supply for worldwide use, a reflector for enhanced output, and a carry case for easy storage and transportation.

This 330W COB light produces a strong output, delivering up to 48,100 lux at1m (5600K) with the included reflector. The fixture can be shaped, controlled, and softened using separately available accessories that attach via a Bowens mount. The SZ300R also offers ultimate colour control, with RGB mode (red, green, blue) featuring Hue, Saturation, and Intensity, as well as HSI, CCT, and GEL modes that enable quick selection from a vast spectrum of colours to achieve the desired look for your scenes. Additionally, 14 built-in special effects are available, including broken bulbs, candles, clouds, explosions, flashes, fires, fireworks, lightning, party, police car, RGB cycle, television, welding, and SOS.

The SZ300R can be controlled via Bluetooth from up to30m using your smartphone and the Godox Light app, as well as onboard and 2.4 GHz wireless control. DMX control is also available for advanced lighting setups, with 32 selectable channels and 16 groups that can be engaged at distances up to50m using an optional wireless RC-R9II remote control. The SZ300R also features green/magenta control with access to 36,000 custom colours, a well-designed U-shaped yoke that can rotate 360, and a USB port for updating the light’s firmware. Adjusting the illumination is easy using the zoom dial.
