The NiSi TrueColour ND-VARIO Pro Nano 1-5stops Variable ND is designed to fit onto lenses front filter threads and provides an exposure reduction of 1 to 5 stops. The 0.3 to 1.5 density darkens the entire image, allowing you to use wider apertures or slower shutter speeds than you’d usually be able to. You can easily adjust the density by rotating the front filter ring with or without the included silver lever, helping you to predetermine the additional exposure length you need. This lets you control the depth of field and convey movement more easily. The transition of density is smooth, so you can adjust the exposure length to exactly what you need for the scene. The front ring is marked with numbers representing the different stop values, making it easier to repeat the same settings. The ring also features silver side knurlings for a secure grip and easy installation and removal. If you’re using this filter with cinema or video cameras, you can make fine adjustments to the depth of field while still keeping the designated frame rate.

The Variable ND offers True Colour that avoids colour shift seen in other Variable filters. The NiSi True Colour ND-VARIO Pro Nano 1-5stops Variable ND is made from high-definition optical glass for the best resolution and quality. The glass is coated using the NiSi Nano coating providing a waterproof, oil-proof and anti-reflective coating to avoid ghosting and reflections. The filter ring is made from high-quality aluminium creating a very light and strong filter. All True Color ND-VARIO Pro Nano 1-5stops Variable ND filters are compatible with the Swift system except filter sizes 40.5mm, 43mm and 46mm.
