The Arturia AudioFuse Studio builds on the achievements of the original AudioFuse, presenting an 18 x 20 audio interface designed for professionals who demand the sonic quality of a premium analog console combined with the versatility of a robust mobile interface. Significant enhancements in the AudioFuse Studio include the addition of two microphone preamps, bringing the total to four, as well as four insert points and two auxiliary outputs that can function as a stereo reamp channel for re-recording guitar or bass. Additionally, it features an integrated Bluetooth receiver for seamless wireless audio streaming, utilizing the highest codec to ensure superior audio quality and performance during playback and tracking.
The AudioFuse Studio is equipped with DiscretePRO microphone preamps, which utilize a discrete component architecture to deliver studio-grade performance. A temperature-compensated oscillator governs the reference clock, ensuring jitter-free analog-to-digital conversion and exceptional transparency at sampling rates of up to 192 kHz. Users will appreciate the straightforward design, as all functions are accessible through a single layer of dedicated knobs and buttons, eliminating the need for complex menus.
Inputs 1-4 are fitted with combo XLR/TRS 1/4″ connectors, accommodating microphone preamps, line inputs, and instrument inputs, while inputs 5-8 utilize 1/4″ connectors for line-level connections. Furthermore, inputs 5 and 6 are equipped with a pair of stereo RCA RIAA phono preamps, complete with grounding for turntable connectivity. The speaker outputs A and B provide two sets of stereo 1/4″ outputs for connecting multiple monitor sets, and the two dedicated headphone outputs feature independent volume controls, supporting both 1/4″ and 1/8″ jacks. The digital ADAT lightpipe ports expand input and output capabilities by an additional eight channels, while two coaxial connectors facilitate S/PDIF and wordclock I/O.
Users can connect any hardware MIDI device using the included MIDI cable adapters or utilize the USB hub for connecting controllers and other peripherals. The dedicated USB Type-C port allows for connections to computers, tablets, or smartphones. A built-in talkback microphone enables communication from the control room to musicians in a remote studio setting. The output control section manages output levels with VU meters, cue selection, audio mix selection, mono mode, output dimming, mute, and speaker A/B selection. The Arturia AudioFuse Studio is bundled with the Arturia AudioFuse Software Center and the AudioFuse Creative Suite, which includes a wealth of professional preamp and effect emulations, as well as Analog Lab Lite, a curated collection of esteemed instruments and effects.
