The AT-VMN50xSH Replacement Stylus fromAudio-Technica is a 2.7 x 0.26 mil Shibata stylus that works with an AT-VM750xSH cartridge. It’s designed to provide a greater surface contact to the record groove when compared to elliptical styli. The increased contact means more fidelity in ultrahigh frequencies with minimal abrasion and distortion. It also offers a solid boron tapered cantilever that is roughly 2.5 times faster at transmitting signals that an aluminum cantilever.
