The Canon CN-E 14mm T3.1 L F Cinema Prime Lens is a manual focus, ultra wide-angle prime lens compatible with both Full Frame and Super 35 sensor formats. It features a maximum T stop of 3.1 and is equipped with an 11-blade iris that produces rounded out-of-focus highlights, resulting in a pleasing bokeh effect. The lens barrel allows for 300 of smooth, stepless rotation from close focus to infinity, ensuring a high level of precision and consistent focus.

This lens is engineered to reduce focus breathing and incorporates advanced glass construction to mitigate barrel expansion and contraction, thereby preventing temperature-related marking discrepancies. Focus distance markings are present on both sides of the barrel, with the rear markings positioned on an angled surface for easy readability from either side of the camera. Additionally, the lens is housed in a dust and water-resistant casing to reduce maintenance needs. The CN-E 14mm, along with five other CN-E lenses, shares a uniform 114mm front barrel diameter, focus rotation, 36 iris rotation, and consistent gear positions for focus and iris, facilitating seamless lens changes.
