Nikon SB-300 AF Speedlight

The Nikon SB-300 AF Speedlight is a lightweight and compact on-camera flash for Nikon DSLRs or hot-shoe equipped COOLPIX cameras. With a guide number of 59′ at ISO 100 and an effective range of 2-66 feet, you’ll get soft and balanced light for excellent color, skin tones, and lighting throughout your entire shot.

The SB-300 features a 120 tilting head, allowing you to bounce your flash off the ceiling or walls for softer, less direct light. It has stops at 75, 90, 120, and when pointing directly ahead.

Nikons i-TTL (intelligent Through-The-Lens) flash coverage technology tailors the characteristic of the flash to the shot. An imperceptible pre-flash fires milliseconds before the main flash to gather information about the sceneshadow areas, subject distance and reflectance. Your i-TTL capable camera and the SB-300 AF Speedlight then work together to achieve the best exposure and white balance setting possible, all in a fraction of a second.

This flash is designed to be light and compact, weighing only 3.4 oz. It uses AAA batteries and comes with a Nikon SS-DC1 soft case to keep it safe while not in use.
