When mounted on an APS-C format sensor camera, it provides a 35mm equivalent focal length of 75mm.

This lens is constructed with an optical design comprising 9 elements arranged in 6 groups, which includes one hybrid aspherical element and one aspherical element aimed at minimizing chromatic aberrations. Additionally, the lens elements are treated with an Ultra Multi-Coating to enhance light transmission while reducing flare and ghosting effects.
