Vocoder

Activate the vocoder and press the microphone button to choose the input source. This input serves as the voice modulator, allowing you to utilize various sources such as the integrated microphone, a headset, or even a radio or USB connection. Once you have selected your desired input source, begin speaking and playing notes on the musical keyboard. You should then experience your OP1 field producing a captivating vocal performance.

In the OP1 field vocoder, the audio input, which acts as the modulator (your voice), is processed through a series of 20 filters that offer adjustable bandwidth and formant shifting. The carrier signal is generated by a built-in custom polyphonic synthesizer featuring seven oscillators, capable of producing sounds ranging from a single sawtooth wave to pure white noise.
