Westcott has assembled the 1 x 2′ Flex Cine Bi-Color Mat 1-Light Kit to provide image creators with a distinctive, ultra-slim lighting solution featuring adjustable color temperature and power settings. This kit comprises a flexible, IP64 water-resistant mat capable of variable color temperatures ranging from 2800 to 6000K, a dimmer that allows for 0 to 100% brightness control, a shoulder strap compatible with V-mount batteries, and a power adapter complete with a cord.

Westcott Flex Cine Bi-Color Mat | 1 x 2′

This 1 x 2′ Westcott Flex Cine Bi-Color Mat generates 3900 lux of daylight-balanced illumination with a nominal beam angle of 140. The mat is designed with hook-and-loop fabric edging and grommets for mounting, and it features magnetic metal-capped corners, facilitating easy attachment to nearly any metallic surface. Its flexible construction allows for the adjustment of the beam angle, ranging from 360 when rolled into a cylinder to 140 when laid flat.

The light output’s color temperature is adjustable between 2800 and 6000K, making it suitable for outdoor shooting, while its high CRI and TLCI ensure superior color accuracy. The mat can deliver flicker-free output at brightness levels from 1 to 100% when connected to a Flex Cine Wireless Dimmer (sold separately). To operate the mat, it must be connected to a Flex Cine Wireless Dimmer and powered by a 26V V-mount battery or power supply.

Westcott Flex Cine Dimmer

The Flex Cine Dimmer from Westcott is designed to be compatible with any Flex Cine Bi-Color or Daylight LED mat measuring up to 1×2 feet. It also supports backward compatibility with Flex 1×1 and 1×2 mats when used with an optional legacy TE-9 pin adapter. This dimmer not only allows for light intensity adjustments ranging from 1% to 100%, but it also functions as a controller for bi-color mats, enabling color variation from 2800K to 6000K. Users can make local adjustments directly on the unit. The dimmer can operate using wall current through the included AC adapter, or it can be powered by 14.4 to 26V batteries, thanks to its integrated V-mount battery plate. Additionally, the dimmer features 1/4″-20 female threads for mounting and comes with a removable shoulder strap for convenient hanging on a light stand.
